Updating US-Japan Cybersecurity Cooperation, Hudson Institute, January 31, 2025
During the session, I engaged in substantive discussions with an impressive panel of specialists: Takashi Michikata from Japan’s Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, Dr. Jeffrey Hornung at RAND Corporation, and Dr. Adam Segal at the Council on Foreign Relations.
Our conversations centered on the evolving landscape of cyber policy and the critical importance of strengthening US-Japan cooperation in this domain. We explored current challenges, emerging threats, and opportunities to enhance bilateral coordination in addressing cybersecurity concerns.
